Wow, this year is almost over. It’s the time where I try to reflect and review this year and the year ahead.
And see if I came close to reaching my resolutions for the year.
My main one was to be more grateful.
To be grateful for what I already had. The more I was grateful then the more I had.
Easier said than done.
There were many times when I had to remind myself. To look at what I have, not what I don’t.
This was a stressful year. I’m not alone in feeling that way.
I lost several people in my life. We all got older. Everything seemed to get more difficult. It seemed at times there was more unhappiness, more anger all around.
I stopped consulting. My job remained the same. Doing what I enjoyed I continued my work in labor relations. Reaching resolutions.
I knew I wanted to be grateful for what I have. The people in my life. My situation.
To became aware of what I already have. Not what I was missing.
I talk and write about Reaching Resolutions 10 Rules for Success. Being grateful helps me reach them.
It’s almost a new year. What will I try to do in 2016? What will my resolutions be?
In previous years I resolved to: Be happy; to be more grateful. To daily practice my 4 corners of health – physical, spiritual, mental and emotional.
There were some successes, some misses. But I tried.
I’ve decided I’m going to continue each one of them next year. To be happy. To be grateful. To do my daily health practice. And one more.
I want to stop being so offended. So outraged.
About things that just aren’t important in the scheme of my life.
Wish me luck.
Happy new Year!
Rock on!
