Ramblings, part 2

I hope you’ve enjoyed these posts

I was telling my daughter Niki today, that while I enjoy blogging it’s also somewhat therapeutic.
For me that is, maybe you too.

So today is Friday and once again bitterly cold outside. I thought if there was a day for Rambling, today is it.
I’m in kind of a reflecting mood, I guess.

I’m tired of winter. I normally enjoy the seasons but not this year. My wife said if it stays this cold she’s moving somewhere else. I presume a warmer climate. I will also presume I’m invited to go with her.

Do you know I attach videos to these posts? More than once, someone has messaged me or told me they weren’t aware of the videos. Even though I write “Click the link below.” Are they really reading the posts?

Have you ever meditated? Does it work? I’ve been “meditating” my own way for a couple of years now. Not sure if I’m more at peace, but I don’t seem to care as much about the same things that used to upset me.

I wonder if my Dad felt the same way about things that I do. He passed away 3 years ago. I think about him a lot. Did he worry about the same things I do? How did he handle them? What would he think of his new great grandsons? One was born right before he passed, 2 were born after. What would he think of his family today as we’ve gone on without him?

It’s been a month since I posted my resolutions – Be Happy; Provide something of value for someone else; Avoid Crappy people and; Don’t be a Crappy Person.

Can’t say that it’s been easy, but I’m making progress. Right now I can think of many excuses fornot being happy. the weather, waiting on call backs, rude people, etc.

Ever wonder about all the people who have entered your life and left, where they are now, what their doing?

But then, I’m healthy, have a loving family and it’s the weekend.
Count me as happy – today!

Yesterday, I was reviewing videos and I came across Linda Ronstadt’s Blue Bayou. Brought back memories…
Love that song. It was also featured in Denzel’s Man on Fire movie. One of my all time favorites, too.

So, to all of you who “read” the posts, there is a video at the end. It’s a link, click it.

Enjoy the weekend, enjoy the song.
